November is for the Holy Souls...

Being that it is the month of November, the month which the Church dedicates to the Holy Souls, I've been reading this book.  I've found it to be a very helpful aid in directing my prayers to the benefit of the suffering souls in purgatory.  These are not fantastic, spine-tingling ghost stories or anything like that.  Instead they are insights into the mercy of our God, sombre meditation, warnings about the judgement we will all face and prayers for us who, as the Church Militant, are called to assist those on their way to the Church Triumphant.

Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.  May they rest in peace.  Amen
